"Seasonal Work" is a very intriguing short story collection. Lippman's beloved PI character, Tess Monaghan appears in the title story and in one other. The stories have strong female characters that often have their own secrets. All of the stories are winners and many end with a dark and compelling twist. This book is great for fans of Laura Lippman's other works and of psychological thrillers in general.
